A really quick morning session in the surf on this fine Friday morning. Met up with Bernard for a short time, he caught a couple of perch before he had to head off to work. The surf was up a bit, reports from the previous day had flat calm seas. Oh well, as a saying goes, should of been here yesterday. We fished an incoming high tide, for me I had only two very small barred surf perch for the couple of hours I flinging flies. Hooked what felt like a nicer sized perch only to have him shake the hook loose.

Look around to see if there was any signs of leopards, but didn't spot any fins on the surface.

Had fun for the short time out, good to see Bernard for the short time as well. We could have had better surf conditions, but sometime you just have to get out whenever you can even if conditions are not the best.
